The Amarillo-Tejas Chapter is located in the Panhandle of Texas and, as the name "Tejas" (meaning friends & allies) implies, we are not only a group of professionals brought together by a common business goal, but close friends as well. The chapter began as a group of like minded professionals looking for answers in a changing work place. The group needed some way to share information and learn more about the work of records and information management. With help from other ARMA chapters, Amarillo-Tejas was formed.
The chapter was chartered by ARMA in June of 1988 and is now considered a small-size ARMA Chapter. The chapter's heart and ambition are as big as the great area and people is serves. Our meeting and seminar attendees consist of professionals from government agencies and contractors, educational institutions, and business sector and vendor communities.
We are a "not-for-profit" organization. |
